Speaking of Release Series, Scion’s Release Series (RS) of limited-edition, factory-tuned-and-accessorized vehicles has been a big hit in America’s urban jungle. The automaker’s latest effort, the ’13 tC RS 8.0, is easy to spot thanks to its exclusive Absolutely Red paint with contrasting gloss black sideview mirrors, unique five-piece body kit that was inspired by Troy Sumitomo of Five Axis, and matching black 18-inch alloy wheels.

The tC’s beauty is more than skin deep, as the captivating coupe also sports performance parts from Toyota Racing Development (TRD), including lowering springs and a trick center-exit exhaust system that is integrated into the center of the rear lower valance.

Inside, the tC features sport bucket seats wrapped in texturized black fabric with red stitching. The red stitching continues on the leather-wrapped steering wheel. As always, each car comes with an individually numbered badge commemorating the unique model.

The 2,000-unit model run will have a price tag of $21,815 per copy for six-speed manuals and $22,865 when equipped with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Putting down the first few sentences of a feature like this 1987 Honda CRX Si is a little tougher than usual. It’s not the familiar story of picking up an old, used Honda, adding wheels and a drop before giving in and going all out on a full-blown build. Furthermore, to be clear, it’s also

Rodrez: It’s the measuring stick that offers as much speculation and attempts to discredit driver achievement as it does real-world data and raw, obsessively focused attempts to chip away at the clock. The Nurburgring serves as a standard by which most automakers set their sights. It arms internet debate specialists with numbers and comparisons by

It’s safe to say that Angel Pena, owner of this supercharged 2008 Acura TSX, has a “type.” Having been enamored with Acura’s entry-level sedan ever since it was first introduced, he knew right away he’d get his hands on one, and eventually, he did just that. Today, a decade later, he’s moved on to his
