Justice League Superman KIA Optima Hybrid

Creating The Famous Logo

Toni Avery
Mar 14, 2013

The team behind the Justice League Superman based KIA Optima Hybrid didn't use typical techniques for its application of the famed Superman logo. Rather the process utilized complex techniques and a much longer time frame. The process included cutting a metal portion outline of the logo from the Optima's hood and then raised it and placed transparent plexiglass over. The final step before the last minute touches was coating the plexiglass in a thick red transparent film.
