GoPro To Sponsor Formula Drift

What Will GoPro Bring To The Championship Series?

Mar 12, 2013

Formula Drift has announced that GoPro will be sponsoring the Championship seasons of 2013, 2014, and 2015. The partnership brought GoPro's marketing manager to say: "we are very proud to partner with the Formula Drift Series, and look forward to helping present a unique perspective to an already exciting series." In its tenth season, Formula Drift attracts a wide array of fans and is seen as the North American Professional drifting championship. This large fan base is a benefit to GoPro being that they will be the sole provider of in (and on)-car-cameras for the competition.

Ryan Sage, vice-president and co-founder of Formula Drift states: "having GoPro as our presenting sponsor for the next three seasons is a big deal for us. A brand like GoPro is any event series dream and this partnership fits right in with our directional planning of the series."
