Rewarding Racers

Mar 11, 2013

Honda announced their program to help support racers in the USTCC (Nitto Tires United States Touring Car Championship) as a "growing series that provides a cost effective championship for those with their sights on professional touring car racing," said Lee Niffenegger (senior engineer at HPD).

Honda's program consists of cash prizes for participants who race Honda Civic Si 2006 or newer. Racers who show up in these particular models can win $1000 each race and if they win the championship there is an additional $2000. For those racing older model Honda's and Acura's, vouchers toward parts are eligible for a prize.
