Cadillac and the Pirelli World Challenge at Long Beach

Round three of the Pirelli World Challenge Championships are set to hit Long Beach on Sunday, April 21. Johnny O'Connell and Andy Pilgrim will be driving two of the three Cadillac CTS-V.R's at the upcoming Long Beach race, while the third driver is to be determined.

Sitting fourth (O'Connell) and fifth (Pilgrim) in the GT points based on their finishes at the opening rounds in St. Petersgerg, the team has been practicing at Sebring to make up for time in the off season.

O'Connell comments on the upcoming race in Long Beach: "Long Beach is a circuit that I very much enjoy driving. There are several good overtaking areas as well as challenging turns. Of course qualifying is always important, if for nothing else, seeing how perfect a lap you can do."

Pligrim also had something to say about the Long Beach circuit: "Winning last year is easily my favorite racing memory at Long Beach. I had podiums before, but never the top step, that was very special. I raced there the first time in 1994. I have about eight Long Beach races under my belt."
