Dodge and SRT Motorsports team up with Travis Pastrana

Apr 9, 2013

The Global Rallycross Championship Series is once again welcoming the powerful team of Dodge and SRT Motorsports with Travis Pastrana for a second season in GRC. Only one year ago, Pastrana crossed the finish line in the fourth race of the season with an incredible 1.431 seconds ahead of Samuel Hubinette.

Only twenty-nine years old, the four-time Rally America Champion and 17-time X Games Gold Medalist will again be racing a Dart for the 2013 season. Driving the second Dart will be Bryce Menzies (off-road racing champ). Both drivers will be at the season opener on April 21 in Brazil racing Red Bull/ Discount Tire-sponsored Dodge Dart Rallycross cars.

President and CEO of the SRT Brand and Motorsports said this about Pastrana: "Travis Pastrana exemplifies what action sports activities are all about and he fits perfectly with the Dodge brand and the SRT Motorsports team. There is no doubt that Travis' personality and driving skills will continue to bring energy and excitement to this season."
