The 2013 season of Global Rallycross kicked off with the X Games in Brazil. Driving on a mostly dirt track, the weekend started Friday with practice and ended with the main event Sunday.

Although Laim Doran set the fastest time over winner Scott Speed on Saturday, it wasn't enough for the final lap Of Sunday's race where Speed used a short cut to pass Heikkinen in the final corner. The top five results saw Ford across the board as well as an exciting victory for NASCAR driver Speed.

Top five finishers:

Scott Speed, #77 Rdio Ford Fiesta, OMSE2
Toomas Heikkinen, #57 Bluebeam Ford Fiesta ST, OlsbergsMSE
Patrik Sandell, #18 Ford EcoBoost Ford Fiesta ST, OlsbergsMSE
Steve Arpin, #32 Royal Purple Ford Fiesta, OMSE2
Brain Deegan, #38 Rockstar Energy Ford Fiesta ST, OlsbergsMSE
