Subaru Launch Control Web Series

“Launch Control” is the first of a bi-weekly web video series launched by Subaru of America Inc., which is about the Subaru Rally Team USA and the Subaru PUMA RallyCross Team preparing for the 2013 race season.

The first episode is about the Subaru Rally Team USA driver and defending Rally America Champion David Higgins preparing for the upcoming season back home in the UK. In the meantime the Vermont Sports Car crew, which is the Subaru technical partner that manages both teams, is working on the WRX STI for the coming season.

While Subaru’s 2012 Rally America championship victory marked yet another win (their sixth in seven years), RallyCross is a whole other animal. Drivers Bucky Lasek, Dave Mirra, and Sverre Isachsen have had a steep learning curve.

The video series will follow both teams through the 2013 season giving fans an in depth look at what the drivers, engineers, and mechanics are up to.
