With production of the Scion xB coming to an end, the automaker has teamed up with snowboard technical apparel company 686 to create a special edition as a send-off. The 2015 Scion xB 686 Parklan Edition will have a limited production run of only 686 units and will be priced at $20,480.

This isn't the first time that Scion and 686 have partnered up to create a unique model. Back in 2011, the team designed an xB show car with snowboarders as the inspiration. The new xB 686 Parklan Edition sports a much tamer Cocoa Bean Metallic paint color with red accent lines in the front, rear, and on the side mirrors. Also look for specially badged 16-inch black alloy wheels along with blacked-out door handles and rear license plate garnish.

Inside, the model features a driver's side zippered storage pocket and zippered seatback pockets for added functionality. The front seats feature a camouflage design, which complements the standard all-weather floor and cargo mats and an available custom INNO Cargo Box and Roof Rack system.

"The xB has been part of Scion from the very beginning and we wanted to give it a meaningful send-off," said Scion Vice President Andrew Gilleland. "What better way to do that than to partner with 686, which caters to people who live their lives to the fullest? Whether it's used on the streets or on the slopes, this xB will become a classic."
