Two-time Formula Drift champion Samuel Hubinette will be swinging it sideways as part of a two-car Formula Drift effort. Calling on European Pro Drift champion Dean Kearney as his second driver, Hubinette will drive a Challenger backed by Dodge Motorsports, while Kearney will hot-shoe a Viper flying the Mopar colors. The two will drive for Sam’s own team, Samuel Hubinette Racing, and will receive sponsorship from Dodge and V-LEDs Federal; Sam is sticking with longtime crew chief Brad Manka to lead both efforts. He won two Formula Drift championships in his first three seasons driving for Shaun Carlson’s Nuformz Racing team, and hopes to groom 22 year-old Kearney into the next Formula Drift champion.
