Well, Import Face-Off’s series is down to its final stretch and this whole time it’s been nothing but back-to-back races for not only cash but also bragging rights these underground racers are fighting for. In the FWD class, Paul Armstrong’s Civic hatchback took the win over Rob Morse’s Civic, who was rumored to have given the win away after thinking he would’ve been disqualified for going faster than 9.99 without a proper license.
We’re thinking big rematch at the next round. Matt Lennan’s Forced Induction Pro class Supra was a consistent low 9-second runner throughout the day (and ultimately the top winner), and show trophies went to Caught Ya Lookin’ for Club Representation and Participation.
This West Coast stop on the IFO tour touched down in Washington with plenty of fast time slips. In Forced Induction Pro, Tim Robadds just barely inched by with 1/10th of a second in his Supra with an 8.34 e.t. over Jeff Bush’s 8.35-second Eagle Talon.
Talk about close calls! Myles Kerr’s ’94 Integra put down a 10.60 e.t. in the Forced Induction Sport class and Best Club Representation was taken by hometown favorites, Team Menace.
