This ain’t your average tree-hugger’s CR-Z. In the world of CR-Zs the Mugen creation before your eyes is a scalpel among butter knives. The purpose-built Super GT300-class racing machine boasts a 2.8-liter twin-turbocharged V6 in place of the stock offering’s 1.5-liter four banger. It’s racy body encompasses an additional five inches of wheelbase along with all those righteous aerodynamic details that widen the Honda a total of eight inches, optimizing the car’s handling potential. While we hear there is some form of ‘hybrid’ still at work, we cannot confirm if it’s a standard Honda Integrated Motor Assist system or something more custom. Super GT300 is enjoying a renaissance of sorts with the Subaru BRZ and Toyota Prius recently joining the ranks.
