Startech Range Rover Velar Unveiled for the 2018 Geneva Motor Show

Mid-size SUV display vehicle will be featured at the show with all the latest from the Brabus subsidiary

Mar 2, 2018

Startech will premiere its new line of customization parts for the Range Rover Velar mid-size SUV at the 2018 Geneva International Motor Show next week. The collection from the Brabus subsidiary consists of body mods, including a widebody kit; rims; interior appointments; and more.

All bodywork components are manufactured in OEM quality from PUR-R-RIM injection-molded plastic or carbon. The Startech front bumper replaces the production part in its entirety and features an integrated spoiler, larger air ducts, and integrated daytime running lights. The new front can be combined with the production bodywork or the widebody version; the 16-piece bodywork conversion kit adds 60 millimeters to the overall width of the Range Rover. Out back, Startech’s rear insert is designed to replace the production center panel. It sports a diffuser look and integrated exhaust embellishers.

To complement the exterior mods, Startech offers its Monostar M wheels in a whopping 22x10 inches for the Velar. The five double-spoke design rim comes with a center-lock looking hub cover that comes in a choice of black, silver, red or blue electroplating. Technology partner Continental supplies the optimal tires of size 295/35 R 22. The appearance is rounded off with the Startech ride-height lowering, which is available for all Velar models with air suspension. Suspension engineers programmed the module to lower the ride height of the SUV by 30 millimeters.

Startech also offers interior refinements for the SUV on request. The range of products comprises accessories such as aluminum pedals and footrest, as well as scuff plates with backlit Startech logo. It also has an upholstery shop that can transform leather and Alcantara in any desired color and upholstery design into interiors. The matching noble-wood and genuine-carbon trim is available in practically any imaginable color and with different surface finishes.
