Turn 14 To Offer BBS Road Wheels

Noted rim brand is just the latest to join the T14 roster.

Mar 17, 2016

The hits keep coming from Turn 14 Distribution. Among a flurry of other news to emerge recently from the performance parts supplier to shops and retailers comes word that BBS and its full line of road wheels will join T14’s product offerings, furthering the distributor’s strategy of global domination via carrying all the hot brands.

BBS is a name that is known the world over, and its road wheels are divided into three lines. The Forged Line is crafted from either billet aluminum or magnesium alloy, die-forged, and developed with optimized stiffness-to-weight ratios to provide safety and long-term durability.

BBS’ Performance Line is created using a unique flow-forming process, which uses a continuous rotational motion, three hydraulic rollers, and high pressure at high temperatures to assist in forming the inner wheel area. The process increases wheel strength and stiffness by changing the mechanical properties of the material.

The Design Line uses a low-pressure aluminum casting method to offer a high strength-to-weight ratio while preserving a low cost of acquisition for the consumer.

In the last few months, Turn 14 has expanded its business by moving into a newer, larger facility, as well as adding brands like Spyder Auto. It’s also stepped up its marketing efforts of late, most notably by continuing its support of professional drifter and 2011 Formula Drift series champion Daijiro Yoshihara and his Subaru BRZ.
