Watch a Car Completely Launch Over a Roundabout in Romania

Car catches serious air before its hard landing

Traffic cameras in Romania captured footage of a car jumping over a roundabout in the town of Braila.

The Telegraph reports the car was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the side of the steep retaining wall, which sent the car flying over the roundabout before landing on the other side. Although the car landed shiny side up, it lost several bits upon the initial impact with the wall as well as when it landed.

We doubt the large puddle it landed in softened the blow much. According to reports, the driver, a 22-year-old male, may have fallen asleep just before the collision with the retaining wall. Although the driver was said to be dazed, he was uninjured in the event. In any case, the driver managed to put the four-way hazards on shortly after the car landed in the puddle.

The report goes on to say that the driver could be charged for damage to the roundabout and possibly lose his license.
