The practice of building a real all-around show car has become a bit of a lost art in the last few years. I'm not talking about trailer-queens, wannabe racer replicas or bizarre-bodykit monstrosities; I'm talking about good old-fashioned, daily-drivable street machines with lots of go to match the detail-oriented show. HighEnd Performance is one crew that has all but forgotten the ways of the show car and Angelo Llao's carbon-fiberized 350Z is a stunning example of how to take home first place.

Beneath the shiny metallic graphics lies a sea of carbon-fiber including hood, trunk, wing, doors, roof, lips, canards, mirrors and more. Not only does the carbon lower the weight of the vehicle, but it adds a menacing look to the car, especially the 10mm widebody fenders front and rear. To complete any exterior, the perfect set of wheels are a prerequisite and Angelo has chosen the tried and true rolling stock upgrade: Volk Racing. Measuring 19X9.5" front and 19X10.5" out back this set of multi-piece GT-S have been taken over the top with a custom chrome black finish.

Under the hood lies more carbon-fiber keeping the engine bay nice and tidy. To make sure the car can get out of its own way the VQ has been upgraded with parts like NISMO camshafts, a Speed Force Racing intake manifold and Strup headers have been added. Tuning is taken care of by Aerodyne Industries with help via an A'PEXi Super AFC Neo - rest assured this Z runs right! Other JDM rarities in the bay include Sun Auto's Hyper Voltage and Hyper Force kits, allowing the Nissan to fire with full force.

A very nice compromise between race ergonomics and show-quality entertainment can be found inside the cabin. One pair of Bride Ergos II seats are responsible for keeping the driver in place whether driving or just listening to some jams from the Memphis Audio array. In the trunk three 12" subwoofers are kept company by a 15" monitor where Angelo and a friend can play Gran Turismo 5 on the PS3. You don't see many trunks packed like this these days but it's nice to see some people are still going the extra mile to keep the show scene alive.
