Scion Going Topless?

The rumor mill is awash with buzz of Scion offering a convertible version of its sweet tC coupe. The brand needs some adrenalin in its youth-targeted line-up to go along with the iQ city car that is hitting the scene later this year. By the way, we have to wonder just how much 'youth' is really in the equation? We have seen a lot of Baby Boomers rolling xBs. Anyway, we are not saying that Scion has busted out the Saws-All at this point but the 2011 tC is all-new and the mid model makeover that's a few years off would be the right time. Toyota could use a drop top for sure but they may be too busy checking those Prius pedal sets to get the ball rolling.
