Rotary heads unite! Rumors have Mazda planning a new sports car. The RX-9 will be more like the FD RX-7 than an extension of the more Touring style RX-8. A new-generation rotary engine enhanced via supercharger is slated to be thumpin' under the hood. Rumor has the two-door RX-9 coupe sharing underpinnings with the Miata. All we ask is that they make output high and curb weight low.
