The 5th annual Dallas Import Faceoff event had its largest turnout yet. For this event, IFO hosted a Gambler's FWD class with a $400 buy-in and the winner's pot built up to $4000. Tony Palo and his red Acura Integra (B-series) met Aaron Lopez and his Honda Civic (H22). Tony won with a record 8.577 @ 183.84 mph to Aaron's much slower, yet very respectable 9.491 @ 161.38 mph on a stock transmission. This was a significant showdown in that Tony was looking to redeem himself after red lighting to Aaron's slow stage at the Crandall, TX IFO back in April - except this time, Tony staged last.
In the car show portion of the event, Best Club Representation was won by Team 16 Niss. Best of Show was won by Marcus Chin and his blue Honda Fit.
