Belle Rose, LA: In its sixth year in Louisiana, Import Face-Off pulled in quite a few Texans as the faster competitors. Max Ramos came out from San Antonio in his outlaw class Honda Civic, and as the only car in his class, took home $800 cash after a 9.48 At 161mph run. Forced Induction Pro was a FWD versus AWD battle, but don’t think a Civic will automatically lose to an EVO. Jon Nguyen’s top end power was too much for Mike Magyer’s EVO as his 10.01 pass was good for the win (or should we say Nguyen? Get it? Nevermind.) Randy Slovac passed up teammate Jason Lumpkin in the All-Motor Pro class after snapping his camshaft during elimination, and Forced Induction Sport’s winner was Joe Drews with his 11-second Mitsubishi Eclipse.

Tuscon, AZ: Weather almost stopped this race from happening. But luckily it stayed dry long enough for Aaron Teague to drop a 9.904 pass in the FWD class; Javier Sosa to win the Forced Induction Pro category with a 10-second Civic; and Christina Stout to run home with the cash in the All-Motor Pro class with her 11-second CR-X.

Gainesville, FL: Florida is one of Import Face-Off’s more popular destinations, and in the FWD class, Cesar Olin might never have won with his 9.751 run if his troubles with trailering the car to the event went worse than it actually went down (his winch cable gave way). In the Forced Induction Pro class, Sam Collier’s 2JZ-powered 240SX hit a 10.010 time and in All-Motor Pro, Marc Podkowik’s 10-second K-powered Civic lost to James Innos’ more consistent 11-second Civic.
