Our Best Honda Issue Jonathan Wong
Our Best Honda Issue Jonathan Wong

I can’t help but say it: this is the best Honda issue we’ve dropped to date. I say this with a little bit of excitement, pride and most of all, confidence because it’s easy to go online to any of the big Honda forums and find multitudes of really nice cars. In this issue, you’ve got greatness in your hands. Knowing that you can find quality cars online, we dug deep and looked to our friends in the Honda community to help us with giving you features you’ll be hardpressed to find better photos or info anywhere else. One of our favorite online partners, The Chronicles led by Joey Lee, helped shoot and write about three local SoCal heroes: Bisi Ezerioha, who has been waiting patiently to show his fans how he created 534hp from his turbocharged CR-Z, a feat some never thought would be possible; connected with Kane Chan to show off his race and show-winning EJ Civic and why it has stood the test of time (we’re talking rare JDM parts and wheels here); and a cool little bit for Big Mike and his Prelude. Don’t know who Big Mike is? You will soon.

But it doesn’t stop there. All you gearheads out there are gonna get a kick out of the K-Series swap install that we’ve included in this issue; it’s sort of a dummy’s guide to dropping one of these engines into an older chassis, but we’ve timed it with the release of Project Car’s complete build-up, so make sure you pick up both and recommend it to your friends if this is the type of build you’re going for. Our buyer’s guide compliments it very well as you can find aftermarket parts that are essential to either completing your swap or producing additional power from your particular setup. I also took a ride in Honda’s all-new Civic Si coupe, and all I can say for now is “cool, very cool”. I think you’re going to like it, too.

So who’s ready to tackle this Honda issue? Let’s dance…
