Every year the Nisei Showoff promises two things: rumors that the current show will be “the last Nisei”, and that there will be some seriously dope cars on display. This year was no different, for the tenth installment of “the final Nisei” there were some pretty amazing cars on tap, some of which haven’t seen the light of day in years.
For those who have never been, you can almost think of Nisei as a smaller Eibach meet with a higher than average quality. Sure there are other cars in attendance, but Hondas out number other others by a significant margin. But so long as the builds are nice, which they mostly are, we aren’t complaining. If you don’t like Hondas however, you probably will.
This year our boy Joey “Stickydiljoe” Lee had a section of the show entitled “Generations” where he put together some of the best Hondas from the past, present and “future” so to speak. No he didn’t get all John Connor and actually send cars back in time, although that would have been sick. Maybe in the year 2029, when the real “last Nisei” finally happens, we will be forced to send cars from the future back to a time when the show still existed.
