We got wind of a few select comments made to Australia’s Drive magazine by Shiro Nakamura, head of Nissan design, hinting that a FR-S/BRZ fighter may be on Nissan’s radar. After talking about downsizing in general and the direction of the 370Z, Nakamura said, “light, sport coupe is a nice concept, I like it. If there is a market we will do it.” If the FR-S/BRZ takes off like we think it will, it seems Nissan will have no choice but to get in the under $25,000.
