The high-strung EV posted a 7:22.329 lap time to smash the existing battery-powered record by 25 seconds. The sleek racer runs specially tuned motors powered by high-tech lithium-ceramic battery packs. The numbers this EV can generate are impressive; 469 horsepower, 664 lbs-ft of torque and a top speed of 149 mph. This ain't your average tree-hugger's EV.
