TOKYO AUTO SALON – DAY 1
Ask any person who’s attended this January aftermarket show and they’ll almost always agree Tokyo Auto Salon is one of the best experiences you can have as a Japanese car enthusiast.
FRESH TOKYO CAR MEET
We partnered with Hardcore Tokyo and All That Low Japan when last we were in Tokyo for the Auto Salon to put on this event that reflects the country’s street scene.
EIBACH HONDA MEET
One of the first and arguably the best Honda/Acura shindig in North America, Eibach Meet turned 11 in 2015 and we were there in May to catch the 800-plus car count.
MITSUBISHI OWNERS DAY WEST
MOD’s 10th year kept the formula unchanged – tons of Mitsubishi on the OEM’s Cypress, Calif. campus in July. Again all the EVOs stole the show.
For a ninth year the SpoCom show surprised us with an array of unique whips, high-energy entertainment, and both classy and questionable models, kicking off its 2015 tour in August.
FORMULA D TECH DAY
For a fourth straight year, Formula D Tech Day was held in March at the Irvine, Calif., facility of TEN (aka publishers of Super Street and european car), and like the last two events 2015's affair was absolutely bonkers.
OFFSET KINGS SEATTLE
OK and Formula D got together in August at Evergreen Speedway in Monroe, Wash., to give drifting fans a taste of what’s poppin’ in the local street 'n’ show scene.
WEKFEST LOS ANGELES
In the hierarchy of car shows, Wekfest is difficult to outrank; we check in with the June stop in “LA,” which is really in nearby Long Beach (LA adjacent?)
SHUKAI SAN JOSE JAPANTOWN CAR SHOW
Whether you are into Japanese cars, Euros, lowriders, retro rides, or American muscle, the Bay Area came out strong to celebrate one of their last events of the summer, and to also support one of the last three standing JTowns in the U.S.
SUBARU SUMMER SOLSTICE
Beach weather, barbecues, and bug eyes. And other WRX. And Foresters, Outbacks, Legacy, BRZ – we’re talking about one of the best parts of the hot and humid season, the Subaru Summer Solstice!
