By now, most of you should have seen last month's Memorial Edition of Readers' Rides. Hopefully it was a nice surprise, especially for our readers stationed throughout the world. In the same vein, I want to try and continue with themes throughout the year. I notice that with the drift craze, I'm getting more submissions with RWD rides in action. Keep sending them in. Now don't get all "Takumi" on me and go up to your version of the Touge and hurt yourself, but do head over to a local sanctioned event and have your buddy take some pictures of you going slideways and send them in.
Another trend I'm starting to see is a lot of our female readers sending in their rides. Have your man, wo-man, or whoever take a picture of you posing with your car and send those in as well. You crafty guys looking for swag will have to be a little bit more creative than just resubmitting with an email address starting with an "angel" this or "sweetie" that. Throw on a wig or borrow a girlfriend. Oh, and another thing, while pictures containing nudity will be sure to capture our attention-not to mention make for an uncomfortable walk to the restroom-we can't run them. So make sure you have some sort of clothing on. At least in one of the photos. And not to discriminate, any male readers out there who feel the need to express themselves bare and by their car, feel free to email Jonny at loudandclear@superstreetonline.com. He's always on the lookout for a Letter of the Month.
For all you female readers and drift junkies, send your entries to readersrides@superstreetonline.com or, for those of you who are still net-tarded, mail them to Super Street Attn: Readers' Rides, 6420 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90048. Please, no cell phone pics or missing specs (refer to our April '06 Readers' Rides for what not to do).
