Christina Hall is one motivated beauty. A college graduate with plans to attend law school, a successful model and generally a down-to-earth girl, Christina is hitting the redline hard. Catching up with her was no easy task, but we finally met up for drinks after one of her shoots. It's been cold and crappy here in L.A., but I think you'll find my little road trip was well worth it.
2nr: You must be Christina...
Christina Hall: I'm sorry it's late, my shoot lasted longer than I thought it would!2nr: That's ok, it's been such a crazy month I could use a few drinks anyway. So tell me, how did you get into modeling?
CH: I have been modeling full time for about two years now, but I've been in the industry for a while, since I was about 18. I really enjoy modeling because I get to do what I love most and I get to travel and meet a lot of wonderful people!
2nr: I love to travel! If I could do it for work, I would...living out of hotels, always on the go. I probably should have been in a band. Anyways, what's your favorite destination?
CH: I always love going to Vegas!
2nr: Who doesn't?
CH: I have a lot of friends that live there so I can work, have fun, and shop all in one place! Oh, and I loved Hawaii when I was working there last year, I can't wait to go back.
2nr: Hawaii is amazing... what were you doing over there?
CH: I was working as a Hawaiian Tropics print model. I made the top 15, which was very exciting.
2nr: What other work in the car industry have you done?
CH: I am currently a TOYO Tires spokesmodel and I have so many events this year, it's crazy! I get to travel across the U.S. and attend lots of races and shows. I've also worked SEMA in Vegas for the past two years, but as far as car magazines go, 2nr is my first. I've been in Maxim for the past three years, RLIFE Magazine 2006, and NA Lingerie Magazine in February of 2007. Hopefully I'm becoming a bit of a familiar face.
2nr: You seem to spend quite a lot of time in Vegas, working and playing. How was SEMA?
CH: I've really enjoyed it the past couple of years. I meet a lot of new people, see great cars, party at night... I always have fun, Vegas is crazy!
2nr: I have a feeling you know a thing or two about hold 'em...
CH: I have lived in Reno my whole life! I love hold 'em and blackjack.
2nr: Biggest winnings on the tables so far?
CH: I actually haven't won a lot live, besides a few hundred dollars at blackjack, but online I play for fun in tournaments, and I can rank pretty high!
2nr: So you seem to be a pretty busy girl in 2007...
CH: Yeah, very busy. Tonight I was shooting stuff for TOYO...
2nr: What gets you around town when you're not flying the friendly skies?
CH: I drive a Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition, and I love it!
2nr: So what do you like to do for fun?
CH: If I'm not modeling, I like to hang out with my two dogs. I'll take them for a walk or to the park, I absolutely love them! I also love to go hiking, fishing, waterskiing, jetskiing, camping and going to the beach with family and friends... I guess you could say I love the outdoors. And I love to shop! One of my favorite hobbies is scrapbooking.
2nr: So, you're an outdoors girl? Complete opposite of me, but at least you like to shop!
CH: I love to shop... a lot! Handbags and shoes are my weaknesses...
2nr: And scrapbooking? The guys probably don't even have a clue! Oh well, if they love us they have to love all of us.
CH: I know huh? A little cheesy, but I like it. Modern-day photo albums, that's all.
2nr: Tell me about your perfect guy.
CH: The perfect guy would be someone who is confident with themselves, but definitely not arrogant. He needs a great personality and to love to laugh! I also like a guy who has certain dreams and goals they want to accomplish in their life, no freeloaders!
2nr: And your perfect date would be...
CH: I could go on and on about a date being completely romantic, but basically I want a night of someone being themselves, great conversation, and tons of laughter. Oh, and roses are nice, too.
2nr: Gotcha... what's the feature you get complimented on the most?
CH: I would have to say I get complimented most on my exotic attributes, like my eyes, because of my ethnic background.
2nr: Japanese and Spanish is an interesting mix by the way... are you 'into' one culture more than the other?
CH: I'm more familiar with my Spanish background, I can speak the language and cook the food! I think I am more Spanish in how I was raised.
2nr: Anything you would change about yourself?
CH: I don't know. I like who I am and how I've been raised, so I'm happy with myself. I think that when mistakes occur in my life, they happen for a reason. They make me stronger and I learn from them, just like anyone else. Everything in life happens for a reason!
2nr: I don't know about you, but I need another drink. What's your beer of choice?
CH: Actually I'm a Coors Light drinker, but I like Fat Tire and Corona, too.
2nr: Guinness and Amstel for me. What about other favorites? Food, T.V., music?
CH: I absolutely love to eat! I know it sounds funny, but I have to eat every two hours. My favorite food is pizza, I can actually eat it for every meal.
2nr: Every month, it's the same thing! Once, just once, I want to ask that question and get a response of, 'Food? I haven't had anything but liquids in the past 5 years... that's why I'm so skinny, yet almost 6-feet tall!' CH:
2nr: And music?
CH: Don't laugh guys, but my favorite artists are Beyonce and the Pussycat Dolls.
2nr: Better than Neil Diamond!
CH: Ha, yeah.
2nr: What are your plans for the future? Are you in school right now?
CH: Not right now, but last year I graduated with a pre-law degree from University of Nevada, Reno. Right now I am focused on my career as a model, and I want to be successful at it.
2nr: Beauty and brains! Now there's two of us! Are you thinking about going to law school in a few years? I bet you can't wait to get in the courtroom! Judge Christina? I have the rights to the T.V. show, you can TIVO it...
CH: I have always wanted to go to law school, and the plan isn't forgotten... Judge Christina sounds great, but we'll have to see what lies ahead in my career first.
2nr: It's getting even later, so we should wrap this up. First I have to ask, and I'm sorry, but are your boobs paid for or God-given?
CH: This may come as a surprise, and I wish they were God-given, but they aren't. I think there is nothing wrong with making yourself happy, so if you aren't blessed with it, you might as well buy it!
2nr: As long as you're happy, who cares? I don't think most guys mind either way!
CH: Ok, true, true...
2nr: Before we go, where can the guys find you next?
CH: They can find me at any TOYO events across the country, on the Hawaiian Tropics website as a poster model, and in Vegas at the casinos because I did a lot of print work for them.
2nr: Happy Birthday by the way! I bet it's cool the issue is for your birthday month...
CH: Thanks, yeah I'm excited!
2nr: Ok, I'll get the drinks then...
