Where is home for you?
I grew up in New Jersey, lived in New York City for five years, went back and forth for a year and a half between Denmark and New York City, and just made the move to Los Angeles. But to me, "home" is where your heart is, it's something that feels right. I know I've left bits of my heart in different places of the world, on some island in the middle of the Pacific, on a patch of grass from a music festival, on a sand path in the desert, in the seat of a car that I rented for a road trip across the Atlantic at some hole-in-the-wall food place I've stumbled into at 4AM, and in the homes of my loved ones.
What do you do for a living?
I'm an actress, model, and host. I have also been working on something special with Samantha that will be launching in 2020 so keep an eye out!
What's your biggest hobby?
Anyone that knows me will tell you that I am either always cooking, talking about food, or eating. Ha ha! I just really enjoy bringing people together through food. It's a big part of my life. It would be a dream to have my own travel and food show one day.
Do you have a favorite or craziest moment of 2019?
Favorite moment: Marrying my dream human in the fairytale town of Tisvilde, Denmark, with all of our family and close friends. Craziest moment: Jumping into the 32-degree Fahrenheit ocean in Denmark on a January evening. It sounds crazy, I know, but it feels incredibly satisfying to your body.
Any New Year's resolutions?
I want to meditate every day for the rest of my life. It's not a "2020 resolution," it's something I've been working on for some time and wish to continue, forever. There's no better feeling than being in a good space, mentally. That's bliss.
