For an import model, there is no distinction higher than Miss Hot Import Nights--that is, other than the cover of 2NR of course. Gratuitous back-patting aside, when HIN picks a female to represent their shows for a year, it's kind of a big deal. Not only is she excruciatingly hot and into cars, she's also the successor to some of the hottest girls in the business. More importantly, of particular note to our readers, is that a role of Miss HIN is traveling to the far reaches of the United States for the HIN tour. Translation? Accessibility. For a nationwide legion of potential fanboy-slash-stalkers, odds are, she's going to be in a metropolis near you. Whereas ogling is mostly limited to the Internet, magazines or wet dreams, you can actually interact with this hottie in the real world . . . albeit, grounds for restraining orders and sexual harassment litigation vary state by state. Or so we've heard.

Alanna Kolette hails from Miami, FL, by way of Denison, TX--an endearing trait that comes apparent when you spend some time talking to her. "Y'all" coming from a brunette resembling Megan Fox is a lot sexier than it would from a redneck cowboy looking like he's about to choke an ox. A lifestyle model for years, it was a chance modeling gig at HIN's stopover in Miami that lead to Alanna plunging feet-first into the tuner world. Capristan Swimwear, muchos gracias. So when our Summer issue came to a head and models were being considered, Alanna was the natural choice. Super hot, very sweet, at home in a bikini, and rocking a Miami tan, throw in the slight Texan accent and the Miss HIN 2009 title was just an added bonus.

How stoked were you when you found out you won Miss HIN?
I couldn't believe it! I competed last year in the Miami HIN model search and I was really nervous--it was my first time competing at an HIN. I remember right before they called my name as the winner, I didn't think I had a chance and my girlfriend and I almost bailed out. When I went on stage and heard everyone cheering for me, I was stoked! I won Miss Miami on the crowd votes. A couple weeks later, my friends and I were hanging out on the beach when I got a call saying that Hot Import Nights would like me to be Miss HIN 2009!

How did you get into the Miami competition?
I was modeling for Capristan Swimwear at the HIN fashion show.

Before this, how long were you modeling?
I was born in Texas and moved to Florida to pursue modeling five years ago. Fashion, fitness, swimwear, catalog and commercial are some of my specialties.

How do you like the car show scene?
The import scene is awesome! I love going to different cities and seeing how everyone builds their cars. I've always been a fan of custom rides.

If you had to single out your favorite car, what would it be?
I love the G35 coupe! I kinda have a thing for tuned, twin-turbo Infinitis with titanium-tipped dual exhausts.

What's the most important, make-or-break modification on a car?
I love fast cars, so modifying the engine is important--a turbo or a supercharger works nice. Also, you have to make sure it's tuned right.

A woman after my own heart. As Miss HIN, you're about to embark on a nationwide tour; do you enjoy traveling?
Yes! That's one of my favorite perks about modeling, traveling to different and beautiful locations for shoots.

If you could pick an HIN tour stop not on this year's agenda, where would it be?
It would have to be Hawaii! Last year, it was one of the tour stops and everyone said they had a blast. It would be nice to travel to the islands!

On the topic of geography, are you a mountain or beach kind of girl?
I'm a beach girl for sure! I love warm weather and being able to wear my bikini all day! I don't think I could ever live where it snows half the year. I love surfing and boating! When I'm not modeling or out of town at an HIN show, you'll find me on a beach in Miami. Miami has the best nightlife and some of the most beautiful beaches!

In all the times you've been to the beach, was the dead seal encounter during our photoshoot your first?
Oh my goodness! That goes down in my book as the first time I've ever seen a seal! It was crazy walking into this beautiful Malibu beach and then almost stepping on a stinky dead animal. Ewwies! What's worse is we all wanted a picture of it. [laughs]

That was about the foulest stench. Was it just me, or did the smell particles lodge in your brain for 24 hours after the shoot?
Yeah, it was pretty bad! I remember I wanted a picture of it so bad that I got right up next to it. The things we do for memories...

Kind of killed the whole "nice romantic walk on the beach". Sans the bloated carcass of a dead sea mammal, what's your idea of a perfect date?
I love it when a guy kisses me on my neck then blows on my skin. I like when a guy wants to hold my hand or kiss me in public.

What do you look for in a man?
I love a guy who can make me laugh. I'm really energetic and outgoing, so I like someone who can keep up with me. Also, he must have a business sense. Gotta have a man who knows how to close the deal!

The biggest turn-offs?
A guy who doesn't have good hygiene--stinky breath is a no go. I don't like it when guys try to front when their boys are around.

What's your favorite food?
I have a big sweet tooth! I love powdered donuts. The Sweet Sixteen ones you buy from the gas station. Yum! I have a thing for white chocolate, too. My other favorite food is sushi and miso soup.

Have any creepy fan stories, yet?
Recently, at one of the HIN shows, I was talking to a performer and he was like, "Hey, I just saw you the other night in downtown and I was trying to holler at you. I called you Megan Fox when you were walking by." Then he started telling me what I was wearing the night he saw me. I thought it was funny until he said, "Yeah, I was stalking you from the club." I didn't know if he was joking or serious.

Two words: restraining order. Make that three: ASAP! If you were to give up modeling, what would you do?
Modeling is my passion, but if I ever decided to stop, I would like to be an events coordinator or a model agent. I'd like to stay in the fashion or entertainment industry.

Going back, what kind of girl were you in high school?
I was into sports--I played basketball and volleyball. I was shy with the people I went to school with. Most of my friends were older and had already graduated. I remember the summer before my first year in high school, I told everyone that I was visiting from out of town. I was at all the college parties and didn't let them know that I was the baby of the crew.

Do you have any siblings?
I have two sisters--one is older than me and the other is exactly a year younger to the day. We all look different. All of us are into different things, too. I just got to visit my younger sister in Austin, TX when we were there for the HIN show. She goes to UT and I got to experience the college life for a couple days! We had some fun times partying down on 6th street.

If your sister was to describe you with one adjective, what would it be?
Sincere. She said that I'm always there to talk to or when she needs help--that I always express my thoughts and feelings, and stay true to what I believe in.

What traits do you like most about yourself?
I have a good sense of humor and love to laugh. I'm a loving person and family always comes first.

What don't you like?
I dislike my temper. I'm half Irish and when I get mad you don't want to be around. I sometimes get stubborn if I don't get my way.

I think that's all females. What's your biggest vice?
Sometimes, the things that I want to do don't match up with what I'm able to do. I have so much going on and there have been times where I add too much to my plate.

What's the one thing that scares the absolute crap out of you?
I'm scared of heights! I've never been on a rollercoaster. My friends are always trying to get me on them!

Let's get hypothetical: If the world was to end in three days, what would be three things you'd do?
I would first go to church and repent! No more parties or alcohol for me! I would go see my family and friends and take them somewhere warm and tropical.

The three people you'd pimp slap in the face?
Every girl has an ex they would like to give a good ol' slappin to! I'd just have to figure out who would get it first! [laughs] Next, it would have to be a girl who's a hater. I know I have a couple out there, so I will save my last two pimp slaps for them! [laughs]

World's ending; time to repent. The three sins you'd confess?
That one time when I drank too much . . . or those other times. [laughs] I can't lie, there have been way too many late nights that I'd use all my confessions for.
