RX Ate My Factory Exhaust
Billy Boat Performance Exhaust has once again taken the lead by offering a cat-back exhaust system for the Mazda RX-8! Can we all say it together? Yippee! Mandrel bent for a smooth and even exhaust flow, this 2.5-in system produces an average of 12 hp and 6 lb-ft of extra torque at the wheel. Manufactured from stainless steel tubing, the system features machined billet hangers, a combination of MIG and TIG welding and 3/8-in stainless steel flanges for durability and precision fit. Using modern flow technology and their proprietary muffler design, each B&B system is custom-tuned to match its application, resulting in the best possible performance gain and sound quality combination. This free-flowing and light weight cat-back exhaust system is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for the restrictive factory exhaust-Hear that, Mazda?-and requires absolutely no modifications to the vehicle or the product for installation. In addition to improving the performance and sound of the RX-8, this fully polished muffler offers distinctive style and aggressive good looks! Backed by a factory-written limited lifetime warranty, Billy Boat Performance Exhausts can be found at www.bbtriflo.com.

Seat Yourself
Pro-Motion Distribution claims to be the largest tuning distributor for Sparco in North America. Due to their relationship with Sparco, they have been able to manufacture a limited, special edition Torino seat in the color combination you see featured here. Wow! Red and black! That's amazing. You know, I was sitting here thinking the other day about what colors I would want on a seat in my Pinto. And I thought red and black would be nice, to match my red and primer paint scheme. But then I remembered I owned a Pinto. I then found out this is a limited production run and these seats won't ever be reproduced in this color combination again. Man! I need an import. For more information, seat yourself at Pro-Motion Distributing: (626) 333-1400.

Quik, Suds! Get The Hose!
There's an innovative and exclusive delivery system that provides the perfect amount of cleaning power with long lasting suds and dissolvable strips! And it's over there, near the car! Quick! Hit it with that hose! That was close. Those pre-measured, instant dissolving soap strips can be buggers. Fortified with color and gloss enhancers (kinda like your woman's shampoo that you pretend you don't use), the high-sudsing, long-lasting formula eliminates the film caused by using too much car wash concentrate. Quik Suds Car Wash Strips provide maximum cleaning power without measuring and eliminate bulky, gooey bottles and wasted storage space. One Quik Suds strip provides the perfect amount of cleaning power for up to two cars, with a formula that foams away tough dirt and grime-that takes some serious R&D people. Convenient and fun to use, Quik Suds is safe for all automotive paint finishes and are available in 20-strip packs. Meguiar's created Car Crazy Television so you know they have the inside scoop. Log on to www.meguiars.com or call (800) 347-5700 for your crazy car-washing strips.

Pig Latin? No, Pacificatalk
Haven't you always wanted one of those language translators you see in commercials? You know, so you can speaka da Spanish when in Rome? Or maybe that's Spain. Hell, it doesn't matter, because with this little tool you can speak up to 10 different languages! I'm not gonna list them all, but a few highlights are Korean, Japanese and, of course, Pig Latin. Sure it looks like a pocket protector, but it can help you out with over 23,000 different phrases, give you world time in 200 cities, do eight currency conversions (You mean not everyone is on the Euro?) and comes with a leather case and earbuds. Just tell people it's an iPod. But why would you do that?! This thing is SO cool. It even has an auto power off. I have one of these things, and I live in LA, so let me tell you how much it has helped me out of sticky situations when I was wishing I took Spanish in High School instead of Turkish. They are available by emailing orders@lingotravel.com. By the way, I was kidding about the Pig Latin thing.

My Eyes Will See Only You
A Spec-V has performance with serious potential, but while navigating the canyons, legally we hope, you're still rolling side to side. STILLEN has designed an easy improvement to your suspension that will reduce body roll and improve stability and handling. Made of high-strength, aircraft-grade steel, these solid bar 15/16-inch diameter sway bars are considerably thicker and more rigid than stock. Designed to use the stock mounting points, the front sway bar will make for a hassle-free installation process. The result will be a Sentra better able to carve through canyons and slice through slaloms at a quicker pace, while not sacrificing ride quality. See what I mean? Sway with me. For more information on this part or any other STILLEN accessories call (800) 711-0310 or www.stillen.com

Awesome Vector
Do you want to measure your vehicle'S performance and improving handling? You can with Beltronics' Professional Series Performance Timer Accelerometer GX models. And you have two models to choose from: the VECTOR GX1 and GX2, which measure acceleration times, G-Force, horsepower and more. VECTOR GX1 and GX2 Performance Timer Accelerometers easily mount to the windshield to measure vehicle acceleration (quarter mile, 0-60 mph, etc.), delivered horsepower, peak and continuous G-force including acceleration and cornering measurements (skid pad and drifting measurements) and braking performance. That was a mouthful. "Whether a performance, classic or sports car enthusiast, these new Performance Timer Accelerometers afford the user the most economical way of testing vehicle performance before making expensive modifications to their vehicles," adds Don Rich, vice-president of sales. We think he was paid to say that. Either way, these don't cost much for all the things they do; we're talking $249.95 for the high-end model. It features an ultra bright, high-resolution Blue Vacuum Fluorescent display and stores up to 10 timed runs which can be downloaded to a PDA, laptop or PC. The "value-priced" model is about one hundered bucks less and provides similar features. For your own VECTOR, log on to www.beltronics.com or call (877) GET-1BEL.

Clarion Anyone?
Clarion Corporation, continuing in its pursuit for space saving units, introduces a true single chassis, 7-inch, flip out, touch-screen DVD Player. Let's all cheer! Clarion ProAudio's VRX745VD is a DVD-Video, CD, CD-R/RW, VCD and MP3 Player with detachable face. This unit comes as a single chassis without any outboard and/or external boxes. Trying to adhere to strict rules concerning driver safety, Clarion added a slew of touch screen capabilities. These features include a display screen, a newly designed on-screen operation tree and menu layout. The ultra thin, LCD screen is fully motorized and can be attuned up or down with the touch of a single button. Nice! Expanding on this, the monitor is also equipped with five adjustable angles for the user's optimal viewing preference. Nicer! There's also an added Air Conditioner Access Mode feature that will also tilt your monitor down, momentarily providing convenient access to the vehicle's air conditioner controls. Bump and grind over to www.clarion.com.

We Like It Rigid
Redesigned for the U.S.-spec '89-'94 Nissan 240SX (S13, RPS13) is the Do-Luck Rear Cross Bar. The Rear Cross Bar is a brace between each side of the chassis that significantly increases chassis rigidity. Rigid is better, no matter what you've heard before. This bar mounts behind the front seats laterally across the transmission hump, and bolts directly into factory locations. The central location of the bar installed in the vehicle helps to create a much more rigid chassis and help stiffen suspension. Perfect for drifters! Call (253) 872-0888 for yours today!

Eagle One, Two, Three
Hairline scratches and unsightly swirl marks on your vehicle are a thing of the past with Eagle One's new High Gloss NanoWax utilizing Nano technology. That's the same technology they use on the Hubble telescope. Okay, not really. But wouldn't that be cool if it was? The Nano polishing agents conceal annoying swirl marks and hairline scratches while the micro carnauba wax particles apply a smoother, more consistent coating. The result is a deep glossy surface and shine, and because the particles in NanoWax are so small, it is also easier to remove and eliminate the messy white residue that other waxes leave behind. The particles in traditional wax and polishing products are too large to effectively remove hairline scratches. This leaves an uneven surface, which reflects the light, causing swirl marks to appear on your paint surface. But you knew that right? NanoWax comes in a handy pump bottle for consistent application and control. An applicator and a non-abrasive microfiber polishing cloth are included. Maybe NASA should take some pointers. For this and other Eagle One products, visit www.eagleone.com.

It Looks Like Spring
The Espelir coil-spring. Have you ever just sat down and thought about an Espelir coil-spring? I have, often. In fact, I am right now. Espelir offers two types to ponder: the Active Super Down (ASD) and the GT spring. The ASD will lower your ride 1.2- to 2.8-in from factory height. The ASD springs are also 20%-30% stiffer from OEM spec. GT springs are designed to lower .5 to 1.5 inches with 30% or stiffer than factory spec. The Espelir springs are made in Japan and utilize SAE9254 and new material SAE 9254MHT (Vanadium mixed material). Mackin Industries now offer choices for the most popular Japanese vehicles, such as Honda, Acura, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Mazda, Subaru, Hyundai and Mitsubishi. Pretty much all of them. For more information, please call (562) 946-6820.
