Kicker CompVT
Keeping weight to a minimum is the strategy for increasing efficiency on the track as well as the street, but before you render your daily driver devoid of all ice for the sake of shedding a few pounds, take a look at KicKer's new CompVT 6.5- and 8-inch subs. each lightweight and able to handle 150 and 200 RMS watts, respectively, the cVt's ventless, solid-pole design allows it to reach full potential in enclosures less than 3 inches deep, meaning huge weight savings over yesterday's bulky enclosures. the cVt utilizes many of the same characteristics as other KicKer subwoofers, like Spiralead(tm) tinsel-lead technology, perimeter venting, high-temp coil wire, Uniplate(tm) backplate and pole, a modified spoke designed cone, with 360-degree back bracing, and ribbed Santoprene(r) surround. www.kicker.com

Q116 Racing Fuel
No matter how much we wish otherwise, big power production simply isn't possible on crappy pump gas. if you're after the biggest numbers, switching to race gas is the only way to get there. and if you've already made the jump and are impressed with the increased tuning latitude fuels as high in octane as 116 can give, don't think you've seen it all. With the same octane as their c16 fuel, VP's new Q formula boasts the tuning latitude of a fuel rated six to eight points higher, through increased flow capabilities of its 10 percent oxygen content by weight. Q16 can even decrease cylinder temperatures through improved fuel distribution and more effi cient combustion. Q16 is suggested for high-boost forced induction apps and n/a motors with compression ratios as high as 17:1. www.vpracingfuels.com

Intellistick
By far one of the coolest automotive gadgets we've seen this year, the Intellistick replaces a car's oe dipstick to constantly monitor the quality of it's motor oil, while relaying the potentially engine-saving information to the driver via any Windowsbased Pda, mobile phone or laptop, in real-time. Without the device provides alerts when it senses that water, coolant or fuel that have seeped into the oil (which can preempt engine damage from blown head gaskets or ignition misfires), if the oil level drops past a useful level, or when it senses that oil has accumulated impurities-signaling time for an oil change. Sure, it might not be as flashy as your newly added eBay "type-r" dipstick, but definitely worth the sacrific. www.intellistick.com

ATI Super Damper For Subaru EJ20
ATI cordially invites Subaru enthusiasts to the "longer engine life" party with the release of their Super damper for the eJ20, 22 and 25 flat-fours. Unlike stock or lightened crankshaft pulleys that offer limited or no vibration absorption, the ati damper tames torsional vibrations brought on by high-rpm driving-especially inherent in modified engines-preventing untimely bearing failure. the direct replacement ati Super damper sheds a few pounds of rotational mass over stock, and features laseretched timing marks and SFi 18.1 Safety certification. www.atiracing.com
