What: Extreme caliper
Rides: WAY more than you can afford, pal
How Much: See above (seriously)

In a completely fantasized world, may we present to you and your automotive wet dreams, the Extrema caliper from Brembo. We say dreams and fantasies because, unless you’re balling out of control, this is available only for the Ferrari LaFerrari, the company’s first hybrid V12 HY-KERS engine, good for up to 800hp—naturally, it needs special brakes like this to bring it to a stop. The calipers are designed to be well ventilated and incorporate the electronic parking brake directly, using a special Brembo ECU to manage the entire system.

While the Evo VIII can hardly be considered totally old, its suspension may have a different opinion, as in worn rubber bushings and such. Prothane offers polyurethane replacements in the way of its Total Suspension kit, which upgrades the bushings and inserts for the rear control arms, front control arms, front/rear sway bars and differential/mustache bar. They’re easy to install and best of all will improve handling and provide increased stability.
