Remus BMW F80/F82 M3/M4 Sports Exhausts

These new additions to the Remus lineup boast lightweight construction via a reduction in the wall thickness of the stainless steel plumbing, but there's also apparently no compromise in strength, probably in part because the exhausts are given a shot-blast treatment. A new silencer interior design gives the units a more "aggressive" note (what, like a bear?), and if you're thinking about picking up one of these exhausts, you'll have four different slip-on tips to choose from. Other options include an axle-back setup and integrated silencers (in case you're scared of bears), and Remus is saying it even saw small gains after installing the exhausts of 9.6 hp and 10 lb-ft of torque.

ACS gives BMW's range-topping SAC (looks like BMW's sticking to its guns on calling it a "sports activity coupe") even more sack thanks to a bevy of mods, which includes a piggyback engine control unit that, tuned correctly, reportedly bumps up the X6 M's power output from 575 hp to 650. The suite of upgrades also includes a trio of tailpipe choices, a suspension spring kit for 0.6 to 0.7 inches of lowering, and an aero kit that consists of front skirt, carbon rear wing (export version), carbon rear skirt insert, and hood vents. AC Schnitzer also offers an aluminum pedal set, footrest, key holder, and velour foot mats for the X6 M, as well as its AC1, Type V forged, and Type VIII forged wheel sets.

The challenge was to improve on the platform's teeny-tiny (and somewhat ineffective) OEM intercooler, and what Forge came up with is pretty genius—the heat exchanger uses a stepped core with custom end tanks to manage the limited real estate. The intercooler comes in a black-and-alloy finish for a factory appearance, and the kit it comes with contains everything needed for installation, including all clips, brackets, nuts, and bolts.

In the AMG CLA45, Mercedes-AMG has pushed four-banger power and tech to new heights, but the tuners at Loewenstein just couldn't leave well enough alone. They've brought to market a plug-and-play power module, downpipe, sport catalytic converter, and intake that ratchets up horsepower and torque to 425 and 398 lb-ft, respectively. Loewenstein also offers a carbon-fiber aerodynamic program with 20mm-wider front fenders, 40mm-wider rear fenders, RS front spoiler, three-piece trunk spoiler, and RS diffuser; you can also nab a set of 20-inch rollers for that widebody, either one-piece Concaves or three-piece Rennsports. And Loewenstein covers the interior, too, with a carbon steering wheel, door decorative strips, and dash flair, as well as velour floor mats and baggage compartment protectors.

What—Miller makes a beginner welder? Look out, world! Nothing can stop us now! The Millermatic 125 Hobby is MIG and flux-cored-capable and works off standard 115V household power. It MIG welds 24 gauge to 1/8-inch material and welds 18 gauge to 3/16-inch material with flux-cored wire. The machine's two-knob design allows for easy setup and use, and also has pre-set controls thanks to Auto-Set, automatically providing the right settings to weld mild steel. It's available for welding 22-gauge through 12-gauge mild steel and works with 0.03 solid wire and C25 shielding gas (75 percent argon, 25 percent CO2). When welding outside of the Auto-Set capabilities, tapped voltage control allows the flexibility to manually set the machine's parameters. The parameter chart on the inside of the access door is a guide for determining voltage and wire feed speed settings. The Millermatic 125 Hobby comes MIG-ready out of the box and includes a fixed-flow mixed gas regulator and gas hose. It also includes an 8-foot MIG gun that uses standard Miller consumables. A factory-installed gas solenoid makes it easy to switch between MIG welding and flux-cored wire. All this, and it weighs less than 50 pounds. $549

Tarox hits all the bases here, covering both 320mm and 345mm front rotors and all 300mm rears, plus pads for street or circuit work. Rotor kits are direct OEM replacements, and each disc undergoes a structural stress-relieving heat treatment at the end of each CNC machining cycle. Four rotor styles are available: the factory-looking Zero, diagonally vented G88, JDM-inspired Sport Japan, and spirally grooved F2000. As for pads, the Strada are for cars that are driven daily, offering what Tarox describes as excellent cold performance, instant bite, and great wear rates, while track-specific A5 are probably better off with Corsa pads.
