The BMW M4 GTS is a limited production car with only 300 coming to the United States. And it comes with an astronomical price tag. Not to worry if you can't get your hands on an M4 GTS because the BMW aftermarket world has you covered with an impressive lineup of products. Many of which, in my opinion, would allow you to turn a regular M3/M4 into a GTS killer.
When it comes to performance, lighter is better. Manufactured from propriety titanium alloy, the Akrapovic Slip-On system combined with the Evolution Link pipe set lets you shed a superfluous 15.6 pounds over the OEM system. In addition to having less junk in the trunk, the system gives you an added boost of 10 hp and 11.8 lb-ft of torque. This downpipe back system eliminates the secondary cats, allowing for optimal flow and a deep, sporty tone without any annoying drone or need to re-program the ECU.
Addition of performance parts equates to more spirited drives and also the chance of you and/or your passenger being tossed about in the seat. Tested on the world-famous 24-hour race around the "Green Hell," the Schroth Enduro belts feature a newly designed ZIP adjuster system that integrates into the lap belt buckle attachments. This new ZIP system allows for easy and precise adjustment and will hold you and/or passengers firmly in place through every corner, launch, and hard braking situation.

Burger Tuning JB4
The quickest and easiest way to increase horsepower and torque on a turbocharged engine is to increase the boost. While it sounds simple on paper, it is often extremely complicated. The Burger Motorsports JB4 is a plug-and-play system that takes the complicated and makes it simple. Featuring multiple preset programs and even a customizable option, the driver can easily choose any setting to match the driving need and style. The JB4 has an optional FSB controller that allows for seamless integration with a methanol injection system, which brings you one step closer to the M4 GTS.
Burger Tuning Meth Kit
When used in conjunction with the JB4, the Burger Motorsports Meth kit will allow you to install water injection into your S55 engine. For those who have never used or driven a car with a water-injection system, it is comparable to running 104-octane fuel. One cool feature of the M4 GTS, besides the fact that water injection is standard, is that the vehicle knows when that tank is empty, which allows it to reduce power to protect the engine. The FSB in the BMS Meth kit does the same thing when the tank is empty; it sends a signal to the JB4 to reduce power.

Burger Motorsports M3/M4 S55 Replacement Aluminum Chargepipes
Back in the good old days (not when you had to walk 5 miles in the snow to get to school or even when you used a quarter for the payphone, but just a couple years ago), chargepipes were made of rubber or aluminum. Gone are those days, and we now enter a not-so-golden age of plastic. I'm not saying that all modern plastics are bad, but the OEM chargepipe from the turbo to the intercooler on the M3/M4 S55 just doesn't have the same quality. The Burger Motorsports M3/M4 S55 Replacement Chargepipes swap the inferior plastic ones with a pair of heavy-duty aluminum pipes with CNC flanges for a secure OEM fit. Bonus—the 1/8" NPT fitting allows for easy integration of water injection.
AWE Tuning BMW F8X M3/M4 ColdFront Heat Exchanger
Heat is the enemy of any engine, and when it comes to a motor that is turbocharged, a heat-soaked intercooler equates to a significant power drop. The S55 intercooler is mounted on top of the engine, and to help fight heat soak the genius engineers over at BMW decided to water-cool the intercooler and install a tiny radiator. After a few runs on the dyno, the guys at AWE tuning noticed how inefficient the OEM system was and collaborated with engineers at Griffin Thermal products to produce the ColdFront Heat Exchanger for the BMW F8X M3/M4. The exchanger gives a significant reduction in the air intake temperature and more constant power curve.
AWE Tuning F82 M4 S-FLO Carbon Intake
The AWE Tuning F82 M4 S-FLO Carbon Intake features a fully sealed carbon-fiber box and filter combination. With a 109 percent increase in air filter surface area over the stock system, it can easily provide the required air to meet the performance needs of higher boost levels. Dyno tests have shown gains of 12 hp and 10 lb-ft on a stock engine. Crafted from high-grade 2x2 weave carbon fiber with UV-stabilized resin and clearcoat, it provides the M3/M4 with a performance aesthetic sadly missing from the M4 GTS.
Carbon Rev Wheels
The stock M4 wheels are lightweight. The fronts weigh in at 21.9 pounds and the wider rears are a tad heavier, coming in at 22.7 pounds. But when it comes to weight and performance, less is more. Carbon Rev makes one-piece wheels from carbon fiber with a hollow spoke design to reduce weight further to a mere 18.3 pounds front and 18.8 pounds rear. Carbon Rev wheels one-up the OEM wheel with greater stiffness and stability, are 1/2 inch wider, and enhance steering characteristics.

Fall Line Motorsports F8x M3/M4 Rear Camber Shim Kit
After lowering a car, camber settings can get out of whack. The rigid mounted rear subframe found in the M3/M4 is adjustable but only to a small degree, which makes precision adjustments near impossible. Fall Line Motorsports understands that camber adjustment is crucial to maximize handling and tire wear. The rear camber shim kit allows for precision settings of the rear camber by using a set of five shims and rotating their orientation for nine possible settings.
Fall Line Motorsports F8x M3/M4 Bolt-in Rollbar
One of the coolest features of the European M4 GTS is the factory-installed rollbar. Your standard M4 didn't include one and rumor has it, dealerships won't sell them. Fortunately, Fall Line Motorsports has two solutions to our problem with its 8x GTS and GTR bolt-in rollbar. Manufactured from mandrel-bent chrome-moly steel with an 0.095-inch wall thickness, either option will be the perfect fit for your M3/M4 or possibly rollbar-deficient M4 GTS.
Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Toe Link kit—Race
After changing ride height, alignment can be askew, and once the camber is dialed in, the toe needs to be reset. The Fall Line Motorsports Toe Link kit—Race features adjustable threaded rod ends for easily setting a wide range of toe adjustments to help to maximize grip. The kit features a billet arm for increased rigidity and heavy-duty heim joint rod ends eliminate the squishy factory rubber bushing, helping to maintain the proper toe under extreme driving conditions and get rid of some of vagueness associated with F8X cars.

Although it seems like the entire automotive industry has been pushing electronically controlled suspension systems, if you peeked under the M4 GTS, you would be surprised to find some old-school tech. BMW outfitted the GTS with manually adjustable coilovers, and while they serve their purpose, nothing beats a properly designed coilover system. The KW 3-way ClubSport suspension replaces the standard progressive rate spring in favor of linear rate. In addition to upgraded mounts, the system features external fluid reservoirs, high-speed and low-speed compression adjustment, and rebound damping adjustment—a perfect choice to help you get your M3/M4 around the Ring under 8 seconds.
Dinan—Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit
BMW suspension engineers have to compromise between everyday comfort and optimal handling. This process results in compliant suspension bushings. They're soft and easily deflect under load, giving you that unsettled and unstable feeling. BMW has addressed this issue by beefing up the squishy bushings on the M4 GTS, but other BMWs are left to fend for themselves. The Dinan Tension Strut Ball Joint Kit is designed to replace the soft OEM rubber bushings in the front thrust arms of the M3/M4 with precision-sealed ball joints encased in machined aluminum housing. The elimination of the stock rubber in favor of the Dinan units improves steering response and reduces shimmy under braking.

The Dinan Lightweight Tubular Adjustable Antiroll Bar Set for the M3/M4 reduces weight and multiple adjustment points so you can dial in stiffness. The front 32mm bar combined with the rear 24 mm helps reduce body roll, increases stability, and more importantly allows for a front/rear roll stiffness adjustment.
RKP M4 GTS Carbon Lip + Splitter Set
Inspired by the M4 GTS and finished in high-gloss carbon fiber, the RKP M4 GTS Carbon Lip and Splitter Set features the same fore and aft adjustments as the original BMW part.
RPK M4 GTS Wing
The RPK M4 GTS rear wing is more than just homage to the factory part, it's an exact replica. From its billet aluminum uprights and stamped aluminum hardware, to its OEM installation process, painstaking steps were taken to the replicate an OEM wing shape out of lightweight carbon fiber to create downforce and keep your BMW glued to the road.
While some of BMW's parts are deserving of an aftermarket upgrade, many of their M4 GTS parts are tough to replicate. Eisenmann F8X M3/M4 Downpipes
While they are for track use only, Eisenmann offers a pair of stainless steel catless downpipes to help those turbos spool up faster, improve throttle response, and increase power on the top end. Designed using CAD/CAM graphics and simulation design technology and manufactured in Germany using T304 stainless steel, the Eisenmann downpipes are compatible with factory or aftermarket exhaust systems.
3D Design F8X M3/M4 Carbon-Fiber Rear Diffuser—Type II
The finishing touch on the M4 GTS is the carbon-fiber rear diffuser. While not a replica of the OEM GTS unit, 3D Design M3/M4 Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser—Type II is very close. Manufactured using pre-preg, 2x2 twill weave carbon fiber for a high-end fit and finish, it will provide the required finish for the ultimate GTS look.
