Air Lift Performance Unveils Lexus IS/GS AWD Suspension Kits

Systems offer an astonishing 4.2-inch drop in front and 6-inch drop at the rear.

If you live the low life and own a late-model all-wheel-drive (AWD) Lexus IS or GS, have we got some good news for you. Air Lift Performance now has suspension kits for your sport sedan, and they provide some amazing amounts of lowering on demand reportedly without compromising ride quality.

The numbers alone sound pretty nuts – 4.2 inches of drop in front, 6 inches in back. The front suspension starts with 30-way damping adjustable monotube shocks, and Air Lift then adds their own progressive rate, double-bellow air springs over the dampers and tops them off with T-6061 aluminum upper mounts equipped with spherical bearings. Like the front, the rear suspension uses tuned, monotube, 30-way adjustable shocks, then Air Lift puts on double-bellow air springs over them. This time, the units are inverted to provide proper clearance and suspension travel. Both pairs are equipped with threaded lower shock mounts so you can set up the suspension exactly to your liking.

Raising and lowering the setup is a breeze, too. Air Lift’s 3P and 3H control systems allow you to adjust ride height at the touch of a button.

Air Lift says it tests the kit’s main components to 1 million cycles (equivalent to approximately 100,000 miles) on a hydraulic test rig at temperatures ranging from -30 degrees to 150 degrees Fahrenheit. It backs up the kit with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty.
