Let your car breathe freely with these easy-to-install power-adders.

Aug 30, 2011

When the decision is made to begin modifying that fancy new (or older) car you just bought, there’s a logical progression. The first and easiest way to get more power and a more aggressive sound from your vehicle is by freeing up the restrictive factory intake and exhaust systems by installing high-flowing aftermarket pieces. Easy breathing is the best way to make power, regardless of how modest or intense your intentions are, so why not start with one of the many featured products in this guide to uncork extra horsepower from your ride?

A Spec Products
EVO VIII & IX cat delete
By replacing the restrictive factory catalytic converter with a titanium cat-delete pipe from A Spec Products, it’s possible to create a fully free-flowing exhaust system for your EVO VIII or IX. Make sure to check your local laws regarding emissions equipment because these pipes may not be legal for street use in your state.
