When we inherited our CRX, it was sporting an interior wrapped in gray tweed. Fashion faux pas nowadays, but this car was built years ago. In the process of de-ricing the Wunderdog, we had to remove all of the tweed. Not sure if we’d be able to find another center console, we ripped off the tweed and found a great solution for removing the stuck-on adhesive.

TOOLS AND MATERIALS NEEDED: 3M adhesive and wax remover and lots of rags.

Ssts 0912 04+how to remove glue adhesive gunk+spray remover Photo 3/6   |   02 With the tweed covering pulled off, you can see the glue residue left on the console. Spray the remover on liberally and let it soak into the glue.
