A new addition to TSW's wheel collection, the Parabolica is manufactured using a highly advanced production technique called rotary forging in which the rim is forged at high pressure while the wheel is spun at high speed. Utilizing Rays Engineering's Cast Flow Forming (RCF), the 57FXX barrel is spin-formed, just as the forged Volk Racing wheels are. This ensures the 57FXX has a stronger barrel by creating a controlled metal flow in the casting and increases the density of the metal flow lines. The 57FXX also reduces weight by implementing CNC machining on the wheel spokes, with machined cutouts around the lug nut holes and hub-mounting pad. At its most basic level, porting the intake and exhaust ports on a rotary engine is the same as porting the cylinder head(s) on a piston engine, in that the objective is to improve airflow in and out of the combustion chambers.
