Honda Civic Hatchback Wilwood Big Brake Kit - Size Does Matter

Last June we documented a big brake setup for the EK (or any other) Civic on the cheap, using O.E. parts. This time we're at the other end of the spectrum. We have a big brake kit from fastbrakes.com with 11-inch rotors front and back. Clamping on the big discs are Wilwood Dynalite four-piston calipers in the front and Dynalite two-piston units in the rear.

You may remember this car from the October issue's "K-Unit" article, in which we followed the swap of a RealTime Racing-built K20 in the EK's engine bay. With all of that power on tap, what better car to receive extreme stopping power? The car goes back to Holeshot Racing in Lake Elsinore, Calif., for the install.
