Some Japanese cars have different name in other countries. Honda Fit is Jazz in U.K. Nissan Versa is Tida in Japan. Mazda Proteg is Mazda Isamu Genki in Taiwan. (I don't know why Mazda Taiwan put Japanese word for the Proteg. Isamu is Japanese name for male; genki means "fine.") I think Toyota Corolla is Corolla in all countries and Toyota is selling the Corollas in over 140 countries. We can buy Corolla in France, Russia, South Africa, China, Kuwait and more. I think the pronunciation of "Corolla" is a bit different but many people in the world can understand Corolla if we said Corolla. Is Corolla word same as McDonalds?
