Top Story: the supercar we've been waiting for is comingNews, Rumors Stuff We Made Up
Although Pioneer Electronic's Road Show is geared towards educating Pioneer's dealers about the company's upcoming products along with a sound competition/build-off to demonstrate how creative automotive sound systems can actually be, it was a great place for them to bribe us with a free meal and to also give us a sneak peak at their latest series of in-dash navigation units that are going to please anyone who owns a car period, enthusiast or not. Since hands-free laws are being implemented around the country and the demand for improved technology to address these concerns becoming more popular by the minute, Pioneer offers four new touchscreen units from all price levels with varying features, including GPS and iPod integration being just a couple of their key features. Stay tuned to our 'Sound Check' section (see the lowest and highest-priced models in this month's edition) as we give you more in-depth information about these great nav systems. Inside you'll find a master parts list for just about anything you can bolt in or to an engine, suspension and braking enhancements, interior accessories and in-car electronics. The 2010 UBG is your one-stop book for all the parts you wish you could have or are going to want to buy for ride.

In our last update for the Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge competition, our contestant, Cheston Chiu decided to check the compression on his 350Z's VQ, where it was later determined by Technosquare that a rebuild was in order and that any hard driving could damage the current configuration. To prep the car for the upcoming event, Cheston had the ECU reflashed by Technosquare and we also put a call in to Cosworth to pick up a new set of pistons, rings, connecting rods and a head gasket for the rebuild, ensuring a bulletproof VQ for the final throwdown. Will the new setup hold up? We'll soon find out. Don't forget, you can still log onto the Castrol Syntec Top Car Challenge microsite to vote for who you think has the ultimate car (you better vote us, and vote as much as possible!) and a chance to win $10K. If we were you, we'd do it and would've done it already.
