Never Too Old To Tune
I am a recent convert to Super Street. At 55 I'm guessing I'm one of your oldest readers. I enjoy all of your articles but have a question. I grew up in So Cal on modified VW Sciroccos in the '70s and '80s, but in the late '80s I saw the light (or was that rising sun?) and switched to Nippon. Now, two modified Acura Integras, a Mazda 6 and a Mazda 3 later, I have recently settled into a 2008 Mazdaspeed 3. While hot out of the box, I started modifying. Suspension, wheels and tires so far; intake, exhaust and engine work on the list. Which leads to my question: While I enjoy reading about Hondas, Mitsubishis and Subarus, I rarely see stuff about Mazdas. There are plenty of modified Rx7s and 8s, 6s, 3s and Mazdaspeed 3s out there. What's up?

This Month's Typo Rant
There are a couple reasons why I am writing to you today. One being that as I was reading through the top ten tuner cars article, I noticed that whoever the hell typed it up quoted Eric Hsu saying that the 240SX is a "RWD: Right-Wheel Drive" car. Obviously this was an editing error due to a combination of last-minute editing and a lack of motivation due to a lack of a paycheck, but damn! Another thing that bothered me was the many praises of the SR20DET swap. Dont get me wrong, they are great engines and have great potential, but why would anyone spend $1,500 (if you're lucky) and an ass-load of blood, sweat and time just for an extra 40-50 hp on an engine that cannot be guaranteed to last more than a month? Any real 240SX enthusiast (I'm not one of them, but I know what I'm talking about) knows that the money can be much better invested into the stock KA. Anyway, that's my two cents. Keep up the good work! And to all the ignorant people reading this, stop asking every 240SX owner if he's done his SR swap yet! It's pissing them off, trust me!

Grammar and spelling errors are a part of life. Just like how we had to correct all of yours before printing.

We can't even quote it. The writing is illegible and the scribbled drawings are unidentifiable. We did like the half Monopoly card, baseball card, used stamp and loose price tag in the strange birthday card. Most memorable mail EVA!
