During our trip to Tuner Galleria earlier this year, we had the pleasure of not only checking out one of the country’s biggest up and coming car shows but also hanging out with these two lovely Chicago locals—Natalia Lalonde and Lisa Dillon. Both girls are super-outgoing, silly, love to have fun and are absolutely stunning. Can we go back to Chicago yet?
Where are you from? I was born in the Philippines and raised all over the place, from New York to Texas and Atlanta. Now I’ve been in Chicago for eight years.
What’s your ethnicity? Half German, half Filipina.
What do you do everyday? Well, I’m still in school, but I’ve been with an agency for two years and pretty much only do print and commercial modeling.
What do you eventually see yourself doing? I want to teach high school once I graduate. I just like the interaction with kids and to help others with their future.
Why high school students? They’re easier to deal with and to handle for me. I’m not really good with younger kids!
Have you had a worst job? Working at Cold Stone. I made $6.25 an hour and I pretty much did a lot of cleaning. They made me do all the dirty work.
Any hobbies? I just like to go out and dance. I just learned the two-step and square dancing because I just got into country music. At first I hated country but it grew on me and I don’t really listen to anything else right now.
Have a guilty pleasure? Tiramisu. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. What do you do when bored? I hang out with my cats. I have four—one of them is like my child. I wish I could take him with me everywhere. My entire life, I’ve been addicted to cats that people even call me the crazy cat lady. Haha!
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I would buy a house in California, because I’m moving there hopefully sooner than later! No offense to Chicago but the weather kind of sucks.
What are two things you can’t live without? My cats and Investigation Discovery. It’s a TV channel and it’s really addicting actually. I’m a True Crime addict. I watch at least one episode a day.
If you had 24 hours to live, what would you do? I’d probably spend all my money shopping, then wear every single outfit and do something crazy in every single outfit like skydiving and streaking!
What was your worst date? I went to dinner with this guy one time and I felt like I was talking to a wall. He couldn’t hold a conversation and he said it went so well after the date.
What’s something a guy could do to get your attention? Probably make me laugh. I’m a goofball. I laugh at pretty much everything. And if a guy can make me laugh, hand me a plate a tiramisu and have a cat on his shoulder, he’d win me over forever.
What’s your ethnicity? Filipino, Scottish, German and French.
Where’s home? I lived overseas in Vietnam, then I moved to Michigan before coming here to Chicago.
How’d your modeling career start? When I lived in Asia, I had a job working for a purse company. They needed a model for a photoshoot and that’s how I first got into it. I’ve always wanted to do it, getting in front of the camera and doing my thang. I like runway, too. I’m 5’9”, lucky for being Asian! Now I do a lot of fashion, swimwear and catalog shoots to runway modeling and everything else. It’s full-time job. I can actually pay for food and do what I love.
What was your worst job ever? Inside sales by far! 50 cold calls every day—it was terrible! I hated sitting there and trying to make people buy something they don’t want to buy.
Any hobbies? I love dancing and going out to concerts. I’m into the dance music scene, intense hard-hitting house music. I used to go out partying three times a week. It’s my main hobby, but I also read, cook and work out.
Biggest pet peeve? I hate it when you’re out with someone, they eat something, and the first thing they do is go “Mmmmm”. I don’t understand why they have to make a sound effect.
If you won the lottery, what would you do? I’d want to throw a party or plan a cool trip at a big party city—probably like Vegas, Shanghai or something like that.
What are two things you can’t live without? Coconut oil! I eat it, cook with it and do everything with it! The other would be Lucas Paw Paw, chap stick from Australia.
Craziest place you’ve hooked up? A penthouse in Miami. It was going under construction and we had to break into it. It was windy and practically outdoors!
How much do you know about cars? I know how to drive them and I know when they look really nice. But if I had to fix anything, it would explode.
What car do you drive? I used to drive a little red Jeep Liberty. But now I don’t have a car. I use Zipcar where you can rent all these different cars. I’d have to say that I like the Honda Civic!
What’s something a guy could say to get your attention? There’s no real punch line. Just come and say what’s up. If you’re really fun, dancing and trying to make sure everyone else is having fun, I’m attracted to that.
