According to Art Mickalik, marketing communications director for Yokohama Tire Corporation, "It is a great opportunity for us to show our understanding of motorsports technology." Labeled as the "the next big thing," the D1 Grand Prix will bring the top 16 teams from Japan to Cali, drifting cars like the Nissan Skyline, Toyota Levin, and Nissan Silvia.
