Get A Middle Finger, Pose With Pat O'Brien, And Get Married With The Super Street Gang
We have an Afterhours extravaganza for you this month, folks. First off, we got busy at the Tokyo Auto Salon during Signal Auto's wild hotel shindig (in order to celebrate the new Show Up body shops), where we partied like rock stars, hanging out with Eiji "Tarzan" Yamada, the Signal crew, Rev Speed magazine staff, and just about everyone in our damn industry.
Next up is Ro-Ro's tailgate party at the recent Super Bowl fiesta, highlighting the new NFL Game Day 2003 for the Sony PS2. Keenan McCardell, of the Tampa Bay Bucs, went head-to-head against Oaktown's Charlie Garner, and in the end, Ro got a cool picture taken with Pat O'Brien. That's more exciting than watching those two guys duke things out over a video game!
In other news, Erin Fleckenstein, our art director, had a surprise birthday party. She was even more surprised to see that we ate all the cake before she showed up. Yvonne Liu who did time, er, spent time on the staff with those eurotuner miscreants made an appearance with former Super Streeter and current Mitsubishi superstar Maurice "Mr. Slinky" Durand.
Lastly, our good friend and Top Fuel USA co-owner, Andy Yu, finally ties the knot with his longtime ladyfriend, Angel Ting. How's the ol' ball and chain treatin' ya, pal? And if you're wondering why there are so many random photos of people flippin' us the bird, well, don't you think we deserve it?
