You've probably seen the millions of ads gushing over the much-hyped "Axe Effect." Hot models smothering some schmuck wearing an estrogen-alluring body spray. You've probably thought to yourself, "Man, why can't ish like that happen to me?"

Well, while us Super Street staffers share in your lamentations, for one brief moment, pigs flew and cows done pole-vaulted over the moon, as we had the rare opportunity to star in an AXE ad alongside some of the hottest import models in our industry. Actually, "star" might not be the right term-more like "accessorize" a veritable who's-who of import models, including the likes of Honey Sweet Hannah, Kaila Yu, KT So, Lisa Fleming, Lisa Kim, Sasha Singleton, and Tiffany Lang. Besides the models and usual suspects, special cameo appearances were made by Christian Rado, Don Hart, Paul Cordaro, Steph Papadakis, and Tanner Foust. The true celebrity of the show, however, was the AXEride itself, the pimped-out Infiniti QX56.

Time AttackSuper Street attacked time and blistering Arizona heat at our recent Time Attack qualifying round at Phoenix International Raceway. Thrown in conjunction with NASA, the event drew over 80 cars and hundreds of spectators out of the comforts of their air conditioned homes.

Using part of the NASCAR Nextel Cup series oval and 1.51-mile interior course, cars of all different makes and models duked it out for the coveted six invites to our Time Attack Finals at Buttonwillow, CA. Despite the heat, very few cars broke down and the competition was stiff throughout the weekend.

Our buddies over at Falken brought out their rig and wrecking crew, including sweet-like-peanut-butter Joyce Lex, to keep the crowd entertained. Mickey Andrade of Falken upped the ante for the weekend, however, flying out drifter-extraordinaire Calvin Wan on a red-eye for exhibition runs for fans on Sunday (read "Wong Way" for more info) and giving away two sets of tires to winners of a RoShamBo duel.

Ten Year Party: Phoenix, AzArizona might've been hot, but Super Street made it even hotter with our 10-year anniversary party. Living large at CBNC Nightclub, local ladies mixed it up with several of our staffers as well as friends and drivers from the Time Attack.
