Best Motoring International's (BMI) Vol. 6 is the second volume to be released on DVD and the longest running video in the series. A large section of the footage is dedicated to testing and evaluating the 2003 Fairlady Z Version S, in a sneak peek for JDM fans at the future offerings of NISMO parts for the USDM 350Z. As usual, the BMI crew hired the country's top racers to test the outer limits of performance on famous Japanese circuits. There is also a comprehensive technical evaluation and a battle against the competitors in its class with amazing footage of the Z in close combat with the S2000, Porsche Boxster, and BMW M3.

BMI also addressed the naturally aspirated (NA) vs. turbo equipped car question in a multi-car battle to find out which was faster under what conditions. Expert reviewers discussed the technical specs of each machine before testing, which was a great way to learn about the hottest JDM machinery. The circuit action was performed by Keiichi "Drift King" Tsuchiya and Manabu Orido as they attacked the track and provided live commentary from inside the car. There were several camera angles that provided footwork, in-car, and high speed cornering views.

The ultimate Touge (hill) showdown with Initial-D-style street racing in the Japanese mountains completed the video. The Touge is closed-course competition with bumper-to-bumper action between a tweaked Hachiroku and an S2000 and several more JDM cars. We were happy to see a NA EK9 (Civic) with a 2.0 liter engine swap spanking a race-prepped S2000 on the circuit. This is a good video.
