With an Eminem and Dr. Dre backing, one cannot go wrong with 50 Cent's new LP, Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. His innovative lyrics open up a new era in gangsta rap, while his audacity to rip every MC in the industry shows his brashness and dangerous upbringing. Shot nine times--once in the face--50 Cent grew up in Queens, New York, and was discovered by Eminem in early 2001. At that point, Eminem dubbed 50 Cent his favorite rapper and was quickly signed to Em's Shady/Aftermath Records. The new LP is laden with Dr. Dre tracks, with Nate Dogg and Eminem also contributing. The hit single "In Da Club" boasts some funky, wild beats that can easily have your body gyrating in seconds, while "Don't Push Me" embodies Dre's genius behind the boards. Dr. Dre knows about talent (with Snoop and Eminem on the list) and with this new LP, 50 Cent will be on there in no time.--RFC
