Chaos, mayhem, bloodshed, machine guns, impaling and splattering--if any of these things top your list of "fun things to do," then you should do it in style and run amok in Midway's RoadKill. Midway presents players with a no holds barred game of survival of the fittest. Complete missions, gain a tough reputation, kick alotta ass and you might just make it through Hell County. The action starts right away, so begin bashing everything and everyone in sight. Getting used to this hardcore new world is simple; no one is ever going to take pity on you so you might as well start the fury first. There are 30 missions here plus many side missions and mini-games to keep the action moving. With this many missions and three cities to get through you're definitely going to be here for a while. Not that that's a bad thing. While you're cruising around causing massive amounts of carnage, you can turn on the radio and listen to music and original station programming. Find your favorite station and then bring out the heavy artillery this is going to get ugly.
Since violence is the only order of business, players get to choose from 40 heavily armed vehicles, each one waiting for you. Use it to roll into town to exterminate your foes, take out rivals vehicles, and collect salvaged parts for upgrades like armored plates and nitrous thrust.
RoadKill is mostly set up for one player action, but there is a Death Match option where two players can go head to head for the glory. Personally, we like the missions best. Here's a fun fact: Did you know if you hit a pedestrian just right, he'll be impaled on the bumper, thumping and dragging along until he finally falls off ? Cool, huh? Uh, kids don't try this at home.
Destruction is the order of the day in RoadKill. For an afternoon of unrepentant anarchy, bedlam, and a nasty bit of violence, RoadKill is your ticket. The easy to learn controls become second nature, allowing you to concentrate on your mission at hand. Remember, you're on your own in Hell County, it's kill or be killed-so take the lead and fight your way to the top of the hellish heap. We give RoadKill three and half nukes.
