Midways' recently released Midway Arcade Treasures is like getting into a time machine and landing right at the beginning of the 80's. Packed with over 20 arcade classics, Midway makes the old-school cool again by testing modern gamers against the video games that helped start the gaming revolution.
Gamers who missed these arcade gems the first time around, can check-out the games that had kids lining up at local arcades nationwide, impatiently waiting for a chance to play. These games might seem prehistoric in their simplistic graphics, especially compared to today's gorgeously rendered games, but seriously, the games are still fun--and challenging, too. The reaction time of the controls is not as sensitive as today's games, so gamers might be more than surprised to get a solid, butt-kicking from four giant pixels, and even more surprised when it happens more than a few times.
